Based in Wootton Bassett, Cloth of Gold is a high quality bridal and dress fabric shop. We have hundred of fabrics in stock, from bridal satins to velvets, organzas to silks  as well as a full range of haberdashery and patterns. In addition, all our staff are professional dressmakers and are happy to offer friendly help and advise. 

Wootton Bassett is a small market town 3 miles from Swindon, just off junction 16 of the M4, and is easily accessible from the surrounding Wiltshire area. For customers that are further a field we are happy to offer our mail order service which as been established for over 10 years and is well known for its fast and efficient service. 

Bridal Fabrics

Brides can choose from the finest chiffons and georgettes, through to flowing crepe back satins, beautiful silks, satin and rich brocades. There are embroidered, corded and beaded laces of the finest quality with beautiful guipure lace motifs and trims to complete the picture. Everything is at hand, including patterns and haberdashery, so that you can achieve the unique look and style you desire. For bridesmaids there is a wonderful selection of colours in flowing crepe back satins, crisp taffetas, textured crinkles and cracked ice. The mother of the bride has not been forgotten, with printed crepes and georgettes which co-ordinate with linen-look fabrics. 

Dress Fabrics

New dress fabrics are delivered regularly and include the latest fashions. Fabrics for every occasion: holidays, work, weekends, special occasions, fancy dress and eveningwear. We specialize in a large range of evening fabrics from delicate organza through to sumptuous velvets. Mail Order Catalogue

The Mail Order Catalogue specialises in Bridal and Evening Fabrics and includes actual samples of many of the fabrics illustrated together with price lists and order forms.
