Have you got an overlocker and want to get
confident in using it in all your sewing projects? Then this is the workshop
for you!
Join Angie from the Geeky Seamstress to become friends with your overlocker and use it to its full potential. Angie started The Geeky Seamstress in 2020 while being furloughed from her full time job and together we help the customers of Royal Wootton Bassett with alterations and other sewing needs.
You will be spending 2 hours focusing on understanding how your overlocker works, we will also have a go at re-threading and changing threads, moving the blade, rolled hems, changing needles and basic cleaning. We will have a go finishing seams on a few different fabrics too but most importantly practicing how to sew with it.
When – Wednesday 31st August
