Ramie Linen Stonewashed

Linen fibre is totally biodegradable and recyclable. Ramie is a linen-like fabric made from a nettle plant called China grass. Ramie requires little water/pesticides to grow but does require some chemicals to “de-gum” the fibres.

Ramie has many of the same properties as linen, such as high breathability, moisture absorbency, resistance to heat and washing, quick drying, and mildew resistance. Like linen, it does soften with repeated washings and does easily wrinkle.
