Patchwork - Class / Workshop - 2026

In this class you will make a small patchwork quilt and start with the basics of how to sew the squares, patchwork with the backing and bind it all together. 

When -  Contact us for a date and we will organise one to suit you and the teacher (Mon to Fri)

Who is this workshop for?

· Anyone who isn't confident in patchwork

· Suitable for absolute beginners.

· Please bring your machine and manual 

· How to work to create a simple square patchwork 

· Tips on how to create neat lines in all directions

· How to attach the backing and make quilting lines

· Troubleshooting and how to stay friends with your machine and the process

FAQs

Will I need to own a machine? - No we have ones available to use but as each model is different we would rather you bring your own to get the best lesson possible

Parking? - after 6pm there is no time limit on the side of the road so parking will be free 

What is supplied? - thread, fabric and binding 

What is available to be borrowed during the class? - we have a basic sewing kit that each person can use each session so that there is no waiting or sharing 

What do I need to bring? - Your sewing machine, manual and power cable, bits and bobs box or toolbox/bag that came with your machine, pen and notebook, all your questions and a charged phone / camera device and your garment you would like advice on how to alter it 

· Please arrive before 6pm if possible so we can make full use of the time we have

· Workshop size is 2 / 3 people

· Tea making and water facilities are available

· Cloth of Gold is wheelchair accessible by a ramp

• Full refund if more than 10 days notice given.
