Sewing Club – Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know how to sew?
No! All abilities are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced sewers.

Do I need to bring my own sewing machine?
Not necessarily. Please check with us when booking to see what equipment is available.

What can I make?
Bring along your own project, or ask us for ideas and inspiration. You can work at your own pace and choose something suitable for your ability.

Do I need to bring my own fabric and supplies?
You can bring your own, or speak to us about materials and supplies available in the shop.

Is the club suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! It’s a relaxed and friendly space to learn new skills, ask questions and build confidence.

Can I come on my own?
Of course! The club is a great way to meet other people who enjoy sewing and crafting.

Do I need to book?
Yes, booking is recommended as spaces are limited to 4 people per session. 

What should I bring?
Your sewing machine (if required), your project and any materials you need. Most importantly, bring yourself and have fun!

How long is each session?
2 hours

How much does it cost?
£20 for the 2 hours

Do I have to purchase anything online?
No! You don’t need to buy anything online. We’re happy for you to purchase your fabrics, haberdashery and other supplies directly from the shop or over the phone.
